   And until Diamond I, too, was all "zomg I need a Grass type". In fact I'm pretty sure my team was a standard Fire/Water/Electric/Grass/Ground/Flying (switching out the Flying for a Psychic type sometimes). Then I realized Special Grass types sucked, so I should probably find something else.
   
   Current Platinum team is Torterra/Staraptor/Vaporeon/Porygon (but has no friends to evolve it :()

   Aha same there! Except then, I'd switch out Ground for Psychic. And in Yellow I'd combine Flying and Fire with Charizard, and swap in a Dragonite instead. Yeah, Grass is pretty awful otherwise. Though Torterra is a must-have for me since (1) it's part-Ground, and I've grown fond of Ground lately (plus it's great in Diamond), and (2) it looks pretty darn badass.
   
   <3 for all of that team except Porygon - which will change of course when you evolve it. I almost feel compelled to start Pearl/Diamond with Chimchar though, if only because Rapidash sucks. Big time. They really need to fix that. :p And I can't see the advantages to using the Peep-loop line. Awful, awful attacks and mediocre stats. :(

   Played blue and silver too long ago, so can't really comment :p
   
   But Leaf Green I basically used a 4-pokemon team (Charizard, Hypno, Magneton, Vaporeon). Grass pokemon are so useless. Seriously. They are only good for sleep powder and that kind of status crap I find lol.
   
   As for Sapphire (I played Emerald, whatever), I am surprised you used Exploud lol. I thought it was useless?!? And what's that fifth pokemon you listed? :p I had Gardevoir and Manectric too. I played twice, once with Swampert, Gardevoir, Manectric, Magcargo (sucky, I know), Cacturne and Walrein, the other time with Blaziken, Gardevoir, Manectric, Tropius, Sharpedo and Walrein. I wish I could download diamond too, but I haven't found anything online

   Haha, yeah. But I used to be like 'zomg grass is one of the major element types in nature, and Ash always uses one too so I must use it!!1' Damn are they awful compared to the other types though. Exploud has very decent Special Attack stats, but OMG, SLOW. :< Fifth one is Lairon... do not use this, like ever. Unless it has the Rock Head property - which mine does not have. Haha.
